Tidal Disruption Events

TDEs are a broad-coverage nuclear-transient case with occasional genuine prompt-response pressure. They also force the site to tell a cleaner story about host subtraction, spectrophotometric anchoring, and why the imager exists.

Suggested seed figure: one optical+UV TDE spectroscopy panel or dust-echo evolution figure.

Why ZShooter

• Optical+NIR leverage helps from early blue continua through later dust-echo behavior.

• Nuclear contrast and repeatability matter.

• Some events are scheduled follow-up; a smaller subset really want rapid response.

Current design pressure

This case keeps pressure on broad coverage, usable spectrophotometry, and the acquisition / context-imaging story.

Build-out notes

• Add a short note on how much of the TDE story is spectroscopy versus imaging-supported subtraction.
